Benson Honda recently reported some details about the 2016 Honda Pilot. We’re happy to report back that we now know a whole lot more about the new Pilot! Honda officially unveiled the new Pilot at the Chicago Auto Show this morning, and they informed us of a number of amazing updates to the SUV. Here are some of the updates you can anticipate from the redesigned, next-generation Pilot:

– A totally restyled interior and exterior, with a less boxy and more elegantly curved body on the outside and soft-touch materials on the inside

– LED taillights and a bolder new fascia

– New 20-inch wheels that will take handling to a new level

– Phenomenal interior flourishes like a panoramic roof, ambient lighting, a reversible cargo lid, and a one-touch, walk-in seat feature for enhanced access to third row seats

– High-tech extras like push button start, a 115-volt outlet, an AV socket, two headphone jacks, five USB audio interfaces, an 8-inch touchscreen, a rearview camera, Bluetooth connectivity, and HDMI input

– An available rear entertainment system with increased screen resolution and added Blu-ray compatibility

– An available all-new navigation system with better graphics, live search capability, and terrain and freeway signs

– A revamped 3.5-liter i-VTEC V6 engine that includes Earth Dreams technology

– Your choice of either 6 speed automatic transmission or 9 speed automatic transmission

– A suite of advanced safety features, including lane departure warning, blind spot monitoring, forward collision warning, and Honda LaneWatch
