Christmas Tree Farms San Antonio
If you’ve been a San Antonio resident for a while, you know that it doesn’t take snow to get into the holiday spirit. We have the same traditions as any other state here, including the opportunity to go out and get a real Christmas tree. Although you’re not able to go out and cut your own tree down, this is about as close as it gets. To assist you in finding a tree, we have decided to provide you with a list of Christmas Tree Farms in San Antonio.
Holiday Hills Christmas Trees is one of the larger farms in the area. They have a variety of locations throughout San Antonio, Corpus Christi, Laredo, New Braunfels, Schertz and Victoria. There are thirteen different lots, seven of which are extremely close, so there are plenty of nearby locations for you to bag up a tree this year. The different locations all follow the same hours. They are open from 11 a.m to 9 p.m. Sundays through Fridays, and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturdays.
All of the trees at the Holiday Hills Christmas Tree’s lots are hand-trimmed and individually selected and shipped from Oregon. The trees are cut at the last minute and strategically shipped to ensure that they are in the best possible condition. Each location has a range of different sizes as well as other Christmas decorations such as tree stands, floor guards, watering spouts, wreaths and garland. The individual San Antonio locations, as well as the other locations throughout South Texas, can be viewed on the Holiday Hills Christmas Tree’s website.
There are also trees available at Papa Noel Christmas Trees and Wreaths. The plethora of Fir trees are also grown in Oregon and transported to the farm’s locations in San Antonio and Austin. Papa Noel’s can also deliver and set up your tree for you. The farms are open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day. View all of the locations on the farm’s website.
If you want to get your hands dirty and find and cut your own tree, Pipe Creek Christmas Tree Farm is the place to go. Known as the place with the “living Christmas trees,” Pipe Creek offers two trees that are grown right on the farm, meaning you can cut your own. They also have the coveted Fir trees, but as they don’t grow in Texas, they are delivered to the lots and kept in water at all times. The farm is open 11 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. daily. Be sure to check out the location on the Pipe Creek website.
