2014 Honda Crosstour Release Date
There is some great news for all of the Crosstour lovers out there. The wait for the 2014 Honda Crosstour release date is over. Yes, you read that right. Honda announced today that all eight trims of the unique crossover officially go on sale today, and here at Benson Honda we couldn’t be any more excited. The Crosstour is the fourth 2014 model to be released by Honda so far this year. Let’s take a look at all that the versatile crossover has to offer.
It’s hard not to spot the Crosstour, as its sleek and rugged design is unlike any other crossover SUV out there. The 2014 Crosstour will offer two engine options and available all-wheel drive. It’s capable of 31 mpg highway when the standard 2.4-liter engine is paired with the automatic transmission. For those looking for a little more power, the V-6 engine option offers 278 horsepower and 252 lb-ft of torque—an increase from the 4-cylinder of roughly 90 in both categories. Power like that in a crossover is rare.
The interior gets a whole bunch of upgrades as well, most notably a standard rearview camera in the back and forward collision warning in the front. As a utility vehicle, the Crosstour is prepared for those off-road trails. The 17-inch alloys are strapped with all-season tires and provide 6.2 inches of ground clearance, enough to clear even the most treacherous trails. Get one of the all-wheel drive trims with navigation, and you are more than ready to take on the adventure of a lifetime.
Now, as it just went on sale today, it may be a little while before we see the 2014 Honda Crosstour in San Antonio, TX.
