The Wait for Honda’s Release of the Third Model of the Year is Over

2014 Honda Accord Coupe Release Date

The Accord Coupe went on sale today. It has been completely revamped on both the inside and outside.

Honda’s excitement about hybrid and electric-only vehicles has been contagious. Here at Benson Honda we have been trying to keep you updated with the latest information about the new models. What we haven’t told you much about is the fuel-only 2014 Honda Accord in San Antonio. Well there is some good news and some bad news. The good news is that you don’t have to wait any longer for the Honda 2014 Honda Accord Coupe Release Date. That’s because it went on sale today. The bad news is that we haven’t given you too much information about it, which is why we’re going to give you all the juicy details right now. We realize that we’re a little late, but you’ll have to forgive us. The Accord is one of Honda’s most prized possessions, so it’s no surprise that they kept information about it a little more private than the other models.

As with the other 2014 models, the Accord will house one of Honda’s fuel-efficient Earth Dreams engines. A 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine will come standard in the Accord Coupe, but a more powerful V-6 will also be an option in both 6-speed automatic and manual transmission. The V-6 will be capable of 34 mpg highway, with the 4-cylinder a bit higher at 36 mpg highway. We know the ratings sound like something out of a hybrid, so just in case you were wondering, yes, we are talking about the fuel-only models here.

The interior has been completely revamped, giving the Accord more of a luxury feel. It is something that you really have to see for yourself. Three colors in either cloth or leather will be available with a more premium cloth seat fabric gracing the Accord LX. The auto-dimming rear-view mirror is back, but it is now completely automatic. LaneWatch blind spot display, which uses a camera to enhance visibility, will also be an available option. Coming standard is automatic climate control, a rearview camera, and 8-inch display screen, HondaLink capabilities and more. This is really a Honda Accord like we have never seen before.

The 2014 Honda Accord Sedan will follow the Coupe, and be available for sale on Thursday.

The Coupe will provide four different fuel-only models, while the Sedan will offer six. The Sedan will also offer two hybrid options, including the Plug-In Hybrid we have told you so much about. The Sedan will go on sale Thursday. In order to find out what we will have and when we will get them, get a hold of us at Benson Honda.
